there are SO many so i'm just going w/ ones that immediately come to mind, no doubt there will be a lot i miss lol

the team of 3 (morgana/guz/desiree) riddle task in series 12 makes me CRY w/ laughter... guz saying 'who the fUCk is veronica?!' and 'there's been another revelation' is imprinted onto my brain forever lol

romesh and tim simultaneously smashing the watermelons in series 1 (+ bonus funny moment is tim sneakily eating MORE melon once the task was over lol)

alex getting increasingly more annoyed at bridget in the shoe task (honestly just all their interactions were incredible lol... rewatched her interview w/ him and had forgotten how funny it was lol)

just... everything lucy beaumont did lol i can't pick just one moment (team of 3 hotel task is one of the top funniest things to ever happen on the show tbh lol)

and, of course... a LIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was the first clip of the show i ever saw and tho i didnt get into it until years after, it's forever one of my fav moments lool

I mean it when I say that Taskmaster UK series 12.04 is THEE best episode of taskmaster.

it's got the best Greg intro, and the best alex skit. Victoria Coren-Mitchell gets penalised for making a pun and learns to ride a bike during a task. Morgana has a breakdown, Guz has a revelation and Desiree gets high beamed in the crotch. And Alan Davies briefly looks cool.

What's not to love

1. ABSOLUTE GOD TIER: series 13 (bridget christie cannot walk), series 2 (katherine ryan crying about sport), series 5 (rosalind's a fucking nightmare!), series 16 (avoid the rubbish robots. also literally everything else going on in this series)

2. endlessly batshit charmingly unhinged comfort tv: series 14 (i love you fern brady), series 18 (rosie jones and jack dee were the team i never knew i absolutely needed to experience)

3. batshit unhinged tier: series 7 (rhod gilbert and his naked picture of greg), series 11 (mike wozniack shitting himself on national tv)

AND

3. endlessly charming comfort tv tier: series 4 (old man noel fielding, ALSO mel giedroyc and that giant ball), series 6 (asim chowdry's 8 bollocked cat), series 12 (morgana robinson, call me), series 17 (nick mohammed IS a vampire)

5. it's unfair to judge: series 10 (this is, on rewatch, a fucking hilarious series even with the covid weirdness, but this was the first covid recorded tv show i watched in the pandemic and it stressed me out so badly at the time that it's forever kind of tainted)

5. honorable mention: new years treat II (claudia winkleman looks like a basketball)

5. other good series just not as good as the other good ones: series 1 (you never forget your first), series 3 (i think about that balloon challenge so often, series 15 (jenny eclair’s general elevation to cult hero)
